The hidden epidemic
Did you know:
- One in four females is sexually assaulted in her lifetime
- Most abuse is at the hands of men they know—family, friends, authority figures, and co-workers
A woman who has been assaulted carries the pain and fear of that abuse into every area of her life, until she heals. She expects life to be treacherous, unfair, and unrewarding—limiting her potential and affecting the people around her.
However, women committed to healing are able to bring more of their true brilliance to their families, careers, and the world. Plus, they have the fortitude it takes to finally bring sexual abuse to its end.
Helping survivors heal
To support women and other female-identified survivors in their commitment to healing, New Dream Foundation (NDF), a 501c3 non-profit, invites you to help make possible our Women Emerging SuperSummit—an interactive on-line nationwide event that includes:
- Inspirational videos of hope from survivors
- Healing insights in interviews with dozens of experts
- Gifts and products from caring businesses
- Performances from compassionate music artists
- Words of support from empathetic celebrities
Sexual abuse is an issue that affects all of us—directly or indirectly. Together we can do something about it through this first-ever supersummit.
Here’s how people are already helping—and you can too
- Volunteering skills in all areas of business (PR, social media, marketing, web design, media production, finance, etc.)
- Referrals and outreach to potential presenters
- Referrals and outreach to other related non-profits as potential affiliates
- Connections to aligned celebrities, musical artists and other creative talent
- Suggestions, referrals and connections re potential sponsoring businesses
- Referrals to other people who might want to help
- Donations to bring healing support to 50,000 courageous survivors this year
